London Marathon 2025
On Sunday, 27 April 2025, I will be running the London Marathon in memory of my daughter Ellie.
Ellie died on 17 November 2013, aged 16, having lost her life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. In memory of Ellie, my wife and I set up the charity “Ellie’s Love”, in which all monies raised goes towards supporting families living with Cystic Fibrosis. The funds are also donated to Great Ormand Street Hospital, East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH), and the NNUH Buxton Ward, in recognition of the tremendous support they provided us during Ellie’s life and since her passing.
I first started running in June 2024, after completing the Couch to 5K with my local running group Runners-Next-The-Sea. I have since participated in a few 10K events, and in October 2024 I completed my first half marathon in memory of Ellie, raising funds for EACH.
With the London Marathon 2025 approaching, I hope you can support me and our charity as I embark on my biggest challenge yet.
